Can I set a timer for a coding problem?
Yes, any coding problem can be configured as a “Timed Problem”.
When a coding problem is configured as a Timed Problem, a countdown
timer will be displayed on student’s coding editor page and
student will be required to solve the problem and submit for grading
within the allowed time. Steps to configure a coding problem as a
Timed Problem:
- In Class page, for the selected problem, click Configure
- In Timed Problem, select radio button Yes
- Select Yes for Auto-submit code on time-out (to force
submit student solution on expiry of time)
